Powering motors with electricity, and then using components to directly control the motor.
We have a few motors from RoboRobo sets that are compatible with Lego bricks. They have RJ-25 connectors. & wires, but only 2 are actually used. Could we find which ones?
Motors are great components to learn electricity, as they could be controlled with switches, potentiometers, wires, drivers (not part of this experiment), microcontrollers (will be burned).
Motors, batteries, buttons, potentiometers, breadboard, rj-25 wires and sockets.
Motor, that is compatible with LEGO.
6 wire connector
Button, on the other side there is rj-25 socket.
That motor have red and black wires to operate.
Trying every wire combination for a button could be tedious.
Ad hoc improvement with premanently pressed button. Now only need to try wires one by one.
For this simple experiment no soldering were used. Luckily everything was workingdirectly with breadboard.
